I think Jem is becoming more mature.It's probaly a big deal that scout isn't ating like a girl because they thought it as just a phase but now that she isn't chaging they are worrying. They are probaly not talking about the Radley's because they are leading to somehting so that there is a hook.
I agree with Gabi! Jem is getting older and getting mature.I think that Scout needs to act like a girl because the family is getting a little worried about her. Pretty much what Gabi said.They are probably not talking about the Radley's because they want to lead into something new or different.
